About Me

I'm a 38-year-old mother of a teenage boy and soon to be ex-wife to an alcoholic.  I teach at-risk individuals in the neighborhood I grew up in.  I help them get their high-school diplomas and  raise their reading, math, and speaking skills.  I've been working on my psychology degree for the last 10 years with a speciality in chemical dependency, focus on the family and friends of the dependent.

I am a product of my environment... I lost a cousin to alcoholism, had an uncle with the disease, and was an unfortunate devotee to a high-school sweetheart with teenage alcoholism...And now, my almost ex-husband...
